Christine Vachon is the co-founder of Killer Films and is one of the most prolific independent film producers of all time. She began her career producing Todd Haynes first films and has produced every one of his subsequent movies including, Far From Heaven (2002), I’m Not There (2007), Carol (2015) and May December (2023).
She also produced Boys Don’t Cry (1999, Academy Award winner), Paul Schrader’s First Reformed, and One Hour Photo starring Robin Williams. Last year she garnered an Academy Award Nomination for Best Picture for her film Past Lives and this year she produced A24’s A Different Man and EP’d the 2024 Oscar favorite The Brutalist.
