In today’s Box Office Breakdown, we go in-depth on the top ten box office performers, including nine studio features from Alien: Romulus to Harold and the Purple Crayon. And one surprise re-release that overtook a number of studio projects to make it into the top five.

We also look at the biggest losers—the three lowest-earning films at this week’s box office. We provide context for each, as Mountains has the highest per-screen average for indie films this week, and a 21-week-old film from Neon is back on the list.

We also break out four top performers in the specialty box office, including some nice progress with Dìdi as they added 227 theaters.
