The BBC and A24’s upcoming drama series The Ministry of Time has cast Aoife Hinds (Dune: Prophecy) and Billy Howle (The Perfect Couple) as its leads. Set in a government agency that gathers “expats” across history to test the viability of time travel. Hinds will play Sophy, a woman tasked with helping Victorian explorer Commander Gore (Howle) acclimatize to the modern world. Filming will begin in London this fall.
Jack Reynor (Lee Cronin’s The Mummy) stars in Amazon MGM Studios’ horror film Seasons, directed by Drew Hancock (Dir: Companion). Based on a viral short story on Reddit, the film follows a husband and wife who buy their dream ranch, only to discover the property is haunted by ancient spirits that can only be stopped with disturbing rituals.

Phyllida Law, who played the housekeeper in The Time Machine (2002) starring Guy Pearce, has passed away at 94. She is the mom of Emma Thompson. She has over 140 screen credits.
