Morgan Wandell, the former Head of International Content Development of Apple TV, launches his own production company, Kismet. The company will focus on producing scripted series for the international market. Wandell was the Head of Drama Series and the Head of International Sales at Amazon Studios before moving to Apple TV, where he worked for seven years as the Head of International Content Development.

Dead Man’s Wire producer Robbie Kruithoff has launched Wrong Turn Productions, an indie studio focused on projects that appeal to a global audience. Wrong Turn is currently co-financing Queen of the Falls, starring Pamela Anderson and Guy Pearce, with Pedro Almodóvar’s El Deseo (Sirat).
London-based sales group Together Films (In Camera) has picked up the international rights to Lisa & Lilly, a Swedish romance drama from Fifth Season’s Nordic Drama Queens. The feature-length debut of Julia Lindström (Netflix’s Young Royals), the film is described as a modern-day Romeo and Juliet.
