Ben Affleck’s The Accountant 2
Ben Affleck plays an autistic accountant whose special interest is killing…again in The Accountant 2.
Gavin O’Connor is returning as director, and Bill Dubuque is penning the sequel. Ben Affleck reprises his role as Christian Wolff, joined by Jon Bernthal as his younger brother (who also likes killing).
The story follows Agent Medina seeking Wolff’s help to solve her former boss's (JK. Simons) murder.
The original The Accountant grossed $155M worldwide in 2016, so it's not surprising it got a sequel. It feels like a bit of an airplane action movie but in a fun way.
It has a cool cast and good stunts. It's always great to see Jon Bernthal kill a few guys and throw out a quip. The Accountant 2 looks pretty good, math checks out.
Premiere: SXSW. In theaters on April 25th.
