The Berlin Film Festival has announced twelve titles for their upcoming slate for the Panorama and Generation sidebars, including ten world premieres in a range of genres from all over the world.
From coming-of-age queer dramas to historical political period films, some of the titles included are:
World Premiere: Iván & Hadoum
Dir: Ian de la Rosa (Farrucas)

Spain/Germany/Belgium
Synopsis:
A trans man and a Spanish-Moroccan woman discover love at their workplace, but must navigate through resistance from their closest circles as they pursue their relationship.
World Premiere: London
Dir: Sebastian Brameshuber (Movements of a Nearby Mountain)
Prod. Company: Panama Films (The Trouble with Being Born)
Austria
Synopsis:
Portrait of human connection as a driver ferries strangers between Austrian cities, probing how brief encounters can shape deeper understanding.
Documentary feature World Premiere: Bucks Harbor
Directorial debut of Pete Muller
USA
Synopsis:
Boys in downeast Maine are shaped by the brutal winters, their harvesting of the ocean’s bounty, and the rigid codes of their fathers. Bucks Harbor explores growing up in a community where a man’s worth is often defined by the strength of his back.
Through the next couple of weeks leading up to the start of the festival in mid-February, the rest of the Berlinale titles will be announced for other sections and in competition entries.
