Cineverse and Bloody Disgusting acquired Wolf Creek: Legacy, the third installment in the slasher franchise. John Jarratt returns as Mick Taylor, terrorizing American tourists. Directed by Sean Lahiff, and produced by Greg McLean, it releases fall 2026.
Studiocanal is making some promotions in their higher-ups. Former UK CEO Alex Hamilton has been appointed as the company’s Chief International Officer, with Katheryn Needham, previously Managing Director, will be filling the CEO role. Hamilton, in his new position, will oversee direct distribution and operations across the company’s nine territories as well as the kids and family business. Last year’s Studiocanal releases include some major titles like Paddington In Peru, We Live In Time, and The Apprentice, among many others.

The joint venture furthers Anonymous’ strategy of building alliances with local producers in key territories worldwide. Some BTF credits include How to Sell Drugs Online (2019) for Netflix and Pauline (2024) for Disney+.
