Gotham TV Awards Nominees 2026

Death by Lightning. Netflix.

Netflix came out on top of the Third Annual Gotham Television Awards, the first awards event for the TV season.

Netflix grabbed 22 nominations, led by Big Mistakes and Death by Lightning, which each picked up 4.

HBO nabbed 19 nominations.

The Outstanding Lead Performance in a Limited or Anthology Series category is especially tight, with Riz Ahmed in Bait up against Jamie Bell in Half Man, Matthew Macfadyen and Michael Shannon in Death by Lightning, and Carey Mulligan in Beef.

We also loved that Pluribus got three nominations; it’s the oddest show on TV from the wild mind of Vince Gilligan.
