Kate Beckinsale confirmed her mother, actress Judy Loe, has died at 78 after battling cancer. Judy Loe had a long television career in General Hospital, Casualty, and Inspector Morse.
Len Cariou (Blue Bloods) will take over the role of late actor Harris Yulin in MGM+'s American Classic. Starring Kevin Kline, Jon Tenney, and Laura Linney, the series follows a narcissistic Broadway star attempting to revive his hometown’s struggling dinner theater. Yullin sadly died last month at the age of 87. Production begins in 2025 in NJ.
Eileen Fulton, a soap opera star best known for her steamy role as Lisa Miller on As the World Turns, has died at 91. A pioneering daytime star from 1960 to 2010 she earned a Daytime Emmy Lifetime Achievement Award. And retired to be an author in 2019. She will be missed.
Kenneth Colley, the English character actor famed for doomed Admiral Piett (clip) in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, and also for portraying Jesus in Monty Python’s Life of Brian, died June 30, 2025, at 87. He lives in infamy as one of Vader’s on-screen kills.
