A new documentary, Lowland Kids, produced by Darren Aronofsky (dir. Requiem for a Dream), was just acquired by Together Films for International Sales Rights. From filmmaker Sandra Winther, the doc follows two Louisiana native climate refugees and is set to premiere at CPH:DOX in Copenhagen at the end of the month.
A four-part documentary on Tim Burton, directed by Tara Wood (21 Years: Richard Linklater), features exclusive interviews with stars like Johnny Depp, Winona Ryder, and Michael Keaton, unseen artwork, and an unreleased stop-motion short. Part 1 premiered at Tribeca 2024, with WME handling global sales.
Gravitas Ventures has obtained North American rights to I’m Beginning to See the Light a tale of self-discovery from Russian director Konstantin Khudyakov. The hauntingly beautiful film comes from Hoody Films and is set for digital release and VOD release in May.
