Thank you for articulating some reasons why he would make a good Odysseus. I'm struggling to see him in this role. He will have to channel his Bourne days for the physical work, but the clever, deceitful part of Odysseus is where I'm having the most disconnect of seeing him play this classic character.

You're welcome, Wesley. It'll be interesting to see how Nolan writes the role. Recently, there was a very interesting interpretation with Ralph Fiennes playing Odysseus like a war-torn soldier. Thanks for resharing. I haven't seen that movie yet, but to me they are spot on on what to lean into. That book is so much about how horrible war is and the emotional and physical struggles soldiers face to re-enter into society.
