MGM+’s ensemble drama, The Westies, has just added four series regulars to its cast.
Allen Leech (Downton Abbey)
Hamish Allan-Headly (Mayor of Kingstown)
Vincent Walsh (MGM+’s Billy the Kid)
Hilary McCormack (Happy Face)
The series is set in the 1980s and is based on the true story of the titular New York gang of the same name and the internal conflicts that threaten their power.
Oklahoma-based horror - Horrified adds:
Jason Behr (The Grudge)
Allison Dunbar (Yellowstone)
Doug Jones (The Shape of Water)
Aimeé Teegarden (Friday Night Lights)
The most interesting addition in this man of a thousand faces, Doug Jones, is that when he is cast, you just know he's going to be a terrifying monster. Filming is currently underway in Tulsa.
Comedian Bert Kreischer's Netflix comedy Free Bert adds three to its ensemble:
Mathew Del Negro (Neagley)
Robert Mello (Killing it)
Braxton Alexander (The Righteous Gemstones)
Following the success of his buddy Tom Segura and Netflix’s dark comedy series Bad Thoughts, Bert Kreischer, the Machine himself, has stepped into the ring.
Free Bert will be a six-episode co-produced series starring and created by Kreischer, playing a fictionalized version of his party-antic, alcohol-fueled self as he wrestles with his daughters getting accepted into an elite private school.
This is apparently the man who inspired Van Wilder, so you can imagine the chaos he could create at an educational institution.
