Netflix’s new project with Harlan Coben, the limited series adaptation of his novel I Will Find You finds cast. The eternally great Britt Lower (Severance) will play an ex-journalist who uncovers a dark secret that may be her ticket back to success.
Official Logline:
An innocent father (Sam Worthington) serving life for the murder of his own son receives evidence that his child may still be alive — and must break out of prison to find out the truth.
Lower is stunning in Severance so much so, in fact, that the first episode of the series centers on her experience of being birthed into the cruel world of innies. Her rebellious attitude is the rocket fuel for the entire series, which is what makes her realization at the end of season 1 so cruel.
Kal Penn joins Max’s Industry for Season 4. He will play the CEO of Tender, a payment processor. It’ll be interesting to see who he gets into bed with both literally and figuratively. That’s what makes the show so addictive, how all the young bankers let off steam in their high-intensity job at Pierpoint & Co’s London office. Penn previously played a doctor for many seasons of House (clip), often taking the moral high ground against Hugh Laurie’s iconic character.
Johnny Berchtold plays Paul Murdaugh, the son of Alex Murdaugh, the lawyer who murdered his family in Hulu’s limited series about the infamous Murdaugh family murders. Berchtold has his own complicated story, as he was implicated in the murder of a fellow student in a boating accident after being illegally sold alcohol. Berchtold has a mesmerizing angst as the son of Anthony Michael Hall in Reacher (clip), which will serve him well for the role. The cast in the Hulu series also includes Patricia Arquette and J. Smith Cameron (Sucession).
