After a super successful first season, Hulu has dropped some first-look photos of its new ensemble cast and a release date for the second season of Nine Perfect Strangers (s1 trailer). This time taking place in the snowy Australian Alps, Nicole Kidman will be reprising her role as the mystifying Masha (above) alongside:
Henry Golding (Crazy Rich Asians, image)
Annie Murphy (Schitt’s Creek, image)
Murray Bartlett (The White Lotus, image)
Mark Strong (1917, image)
and many more who each will be checking into a transformational wellness retreat. You can watch the mysteries unfold when Nine Perfect Strangers season 2 premieres on May 21st only on Hulu.
Holt McCallany (Fight Club, The Iron Claw) has great hands. He will co-star in Clean Hands, a true-story drama about former drug cop Kevin Simmers and his daughter Brooke’s battle with addiction.
Directed by Jake Allyn (Ride), the film explores the opioid crisis from both law enforcement and personal perspectives, with Zach Braff portraying a man whose transformation leads him to create a groundbreaking recovery center, with McCallany as Maryland Congressman David Trone.
We like him as a politician. He has gruff and swagger and a home-spun feeling that makes him sit well in institutions, whether they be bureaus of law (Mindhunter) or patriarchs of a family dynasty (Iron Claw).
