Despicable Me opens, Paramount closes, Wanda Sykes gets dramatic, Smart House on steroids, Australia doubles down, and a glacier.

We’re going to start to do detailed Box Office breakdowns every Monday.

Animation continues to rule, with Inside Out 2 and Despicable Me 4 making a combined $105 M domestic during the three-day weekend. However, some of Despicable Me 4’s opening weekend profits were cannibalized by Inside Out 2, which enjoyed a healthy $30 M domestic fourth weekend.
