Jay Ellis (Insecure, Top Gun: Maverick) has joined Mindy Kaling (The Office)’s new series Not Suitable For Work, which follows a group of twentysomethings in New York trying to “make it”.
TV’s girl next door is now a mom, with Elisha Cuthbert (ABC’s Happy Endings) joining the cast of Prime Video’s Every Year After. The nostalgic romance story takes place over the course of six years in one lake town, with Cuthbert playing the protagonist’s nurturing mother.
Kristoffer Polaha (Life Unexpected) has joined MGM+’s American Hostage as Dick Hall, a mortgage company president taken hostage by famous kidnapper Tony Kiritsis (Giovanni Ribisi). The anthology psychological thriller, based on the podcast starring Jon Hamm, dramatizes the real 1977 Indianapolis hostage crisis. Currently filming in Winnipeg.
