Brad Pitt’s A24 film The Riders adds Lara Pulver (MobLand) and Kimonas Kouris (Tehran) to the cast. Based on a novel of the same name, the film will follow Fred Scully (played by Brad Pitt) and his daughter, who travel through Europe in search of the wife who abandoned them. The film will be directed by Edward Berger (Conclave). No info on their roles.
Stavros Halkias (Bugonia) joins Glen Powell (Top Gun: Maverick) in the cast for Judd Apatow’s (This is 40) country music comedy. Halkias will play the music agent of Powell’s character. With a long career in stand-up comedy, Halkias has proved his comedic chops can shine on the big screen with his role as a weird police officer in Yorgos Lanthimos’ Bugonia (2026). The film is set to premiere in February 2027.
Ed Bernard (Police Woman, The White Shadow) dies at 86. Ever since making his film debut in Shaft (1971), Bernard appeared in many films and TV series episodes, including Cool Million, Love Story, and Kojak. He will be missed.
