The Industry in collaboration with Mubi would like to invite you to a live workshop with the Ross Brothers on how they secured finance and distribution for their latest film, Gasoline Rainbow.

The film played at SXSW and the Venice International Film Festival earlier in the year and became a New York Times critic pick. But importantly this is the first (as far as we know) project that Mubi fully backed.

In this workshop the Ross Brothers will present how they were able to get their latest film, Gasoline Rainbow greenlit with a distribution deal with the streaming platform Mubi.

Mubi has become a prime player in the film industry having bought some of the top three films at Cannes 2024 including The Girl with the Needle, The Substance, and the North American rights to Andrea Arnold’s Bird.

Now their shift into financing and production has opened up an opportunity for bold artistic visioneries and the Ross Bros break down how their film was the prime mover for this shift.
