In Session 3 of our 5 Part Live Event Series, The New Independent Filmmaker we will be joined by Ross Katz.

Ross Katz is an Oscar nominated filmmaker.

Nominated for both Todd Fields In the Bedroom and Sofia Coppola’s Lost in Translation.

He has also produced films including Marie Antoinette, as well as multiple films for HBO, including The Laramie Project and My Dinner With Hervé.

His feature debut as writer/director, HBO’s Taking Chance, garnered the Best Director Award from the DGA and Best Screenplay Award from the WGA.

Ross has a great pedigree and understands what it takes to make something remarkable. He started his career as a grip on Reservoir Dogs, followed by four years working for Sydney Pollack, and seven years for the legendary NY indie film company Good Machine.
