Star of NBC sitcom Sanford and Son, Demond Wilson, has died at 79. After a string of wildly successful but short-lived series (CBS’ Baby… I’m Back, The New Odd Couple, etc.) Wilson retired from acting and became an interdenominational minister.
Alastair Duncan will reprise his video game role as Mimir in Prime Video’s God of War series, marking the first actor to carry over from the games. In the game, Mimir was just a talking head hanging from Kratos’ belt, but added a much-needed levity to the heavy story.

Markice Moore (Netflix’s Point Blank) is gearing up to lead the cast of high-stakes thriller High Rollers as a dangerous and desperate gambler seeking to avenge his father. High Rollers comes from Manny Halley Productions (Aftershock), a division of Imani Media Group.
Milo Ventimiglia (This Is Us, Gilmore Girls) will star in and co-executive produce HBO Max’s police drama pilot American Blue. Ventimiglia plays a hometown returnee tasked with saving a struggling Illinois police force. David Ayer (Bright) will direct, adding to his growing list of Cop dramas.
