After much speculation, Kurt Russell is officially joining one of several Yellowstone spinoffs, The Madison. The new show is the veteran film actor’s second major TV role after leading Apple TV+’s Monarch: Legacy of Monsters (2023-). The Madison does not yet have a premiere date.
Scott Eastwood (Fast & Furious) joins Djimon Hounsou (Blood Diamond) and Halle Berry in the Africa-based action thriller Red-Card. Inspired by true events, it follows a ranger and an FBI team battling trafficking rings across Kenya. Currently in production.
Finn Cole, the actor known best as the youngest member of the Peaky Blinders, is set to star in Sirius, a thriller feature opposite Mads Mikkelsen. The action-adventure story follows a special forces unit defending Greenland’s frozen coast. Cole’s role is unknown. The film just wrapped production.
Egyptian actor Amir El-Masry (The Crown) is joining season 2 of Paramount+’s spy thriller The Agency. Introduced to most as businessman Mohamed Al-Fayed in the fifth season of the Netflix period drama. The Agency will return in 2026.
Mark Rylance joins Amazon MGM’s Artificial, directed by Luca Guadagnino (Challengers) and co-starring Andrew Garfield and Yura Borisov (Anora).
