Hannah Simone (New Girl) and Iqbal Theba (Glee) join Super Troopers 3. Theba has one of those faces; he is a pretty prolific character actor who pops up everywhere. Simone exploded with New Girl but hasn’t been in a movie since 2019’s Bash Brothers (and calling that a movie is a stretch). Excited to see everyone get eaten by bugs.
Sneaky Pete’s Giovanni Ribisi is joining Jon Hamm in American Hostage, a 70s drama thriller series from MGM+. The anthology series will see Ribisi as a hostage-taker who demands to be interviewed by Hamm on his radio program. Premiering Feb. 2026.
Chloe Bennet (Interior Chinatown) joins Hulu’s untitled Dan Fogelman NFL family drama as Hank (William H. Macy)’s youngest daughter.
Production is underway on action-thriller The Night Driver, directed by Jeremy Weis (The Teacher). Josh Lucas stars as a salesman stalked by a killer across the U.S., framed for murders. Charlotte Kirk (The Reckoning) plays Max, a single mom bartender whose encounter with him changes her life. Currently filming in New Mexico.
