Former Warner Bros. Discovery CEO Andrew Cripps is in talks to head Amazon MGM Studios’ new international distribution division. Cripps is a highly regarded film distribution executive who, while at WBD, helped launch Barbie (2023) to over $810 M at the international box office. While other candidates are also being considered, Cripps' more than three decades of experience landing theatrical distribution overseas makes him more than qualified for the position.
Talent Manager Doug Wald has joined Brillstein Entertainment Partners after leaving his 13 years at Anonymous Content this past month. With his move to BEP, Wald brings a wealth of experience, having repped A-list clients like Emma Stone and Austin Butler. In an effort to expand its footprint, Wald will be joining the Brillstein team immediately.

This signoff remains uncertain under Trump-appointed chairman Brendan Carr, while five NYC pension funds filed a lawsuit seeking to pause the deal over fiduciary concerns.
