HBO has unveiled the new generation of Weasleys for its upcoming Harry Potter series, promising an exciting new take on the wizarding world’s most beloved red-headed family.
In a series of selfies posted by the streamer Ron Weasley, previously announced to be portrayed by Alastair Stout. He is joined by a series of newcomers:
Twins Tristan and Gabriel Harland (The Last Kingdom) as George and Fred
Ruari Spooner as older brother Percy
Gracie Cochrane as sweet little Ginny
The highly anticipated decade-spanning series drops on HBO sometime in 2027.
Amazon MGM’s Artificial, Luca Guadagnino’s AI-themed dramedy, adds Will Angus (Almost Friday TV), Thaddea Graham (Bad Sisters), Nicholas Hamilton (It) and and Will Price (After the Hunt)
Elsie Fisher (Eighth Grade), Ty Simpkins (The Whale), Julie Ann Emery, and Mel Rodriguez will star in Busted, Maria Bissell’s indie revenge thriller about a naive freshman trapped in a blackmail scheme. Currently in production.
Blossom’s Mayim Bialik and American Horror Story’s Cheyenne Jackson lead the cast of indie LGBTQ romcom Go-Love-Go, reteaming up with John Griffin, who also stars and wrote the script. The three actors previously worked together on Call Me Kat (2022-23), a short-lived Fox multicam sitcom.
