It’s possible that future Avatar sequels will be made for less money. Fire and Ash had a $500M budget ($350M production, $150M marketing), and made $1.4bn, much less than the first film ($2.9bn) and the second film ($2.3bn). The duration may also become shorter than the 3hr+ runtime average of the Avatar trilogy.
