Wild Things, Apple TV’s magical new limited series, adds Justin Theroux (The Leftovers) and Darius Fraser (Plainclothes) as series regulars. Opposite Jude Law and Andrew Garfield as the infamous Siegfried and Roy duo, Theroux will play Steve Wynn, the Las Vegas hotel magnate who originally brought the magicians to the Strip. Fraser’s part in the eight-episode Apple series has not been disclosed.
New Orleans just got even wilder… Tiffany Haddish is leading Motion, a new crime-thriller that she’ll star in and produce through her She Ready production banner. Former Disney star Bella Thorne (The Babysitter) and entertainment mogul Master P (Hollywood Homicide) are joining the feature, with plot details being kept under wraps. Filming is set to begin in New Orleans this winter.
Comedian Bert Kreischer, the Machine himself, is set to headline Homecoming, a campus-set comedy directed by Jeff Tomsic (Tag). The film follows divorced dad Bert returning to his alma mater for homecoming, attempting to reconnect with his daughter, only to be “parent trapped” by his kids and ex-wife. Bert is apparently the man who inspired Van Wilder, so you can imagine the chaos he could create at an educational institution.
The new TV series, Maya, on Channel 4, starring Bella Ramsey, adds four. Logan Roy’s 2nd wife in Succession, Harriet Walter, F1’s villainous Tobias Menzies, and Ben Chaplin. This story follows Ramsey and her mother, who enter the witness protection program with two hitmen intent on tracking them down.
Chace Crawford (The Boys) has joined Dan Fogelman’s untitled NFL series as the team’s General Manager. Crawford really broke out as weird-o Aquaman “The Deep” in The Boys, where a running gag was him having an affair with an octopus and then later tragically being made to eat his eight-legged lover. Crawford’s a great pick, and I'm happy to see more of him.
Brandon Perea, who played the heartbroken Radio Shack employee in NOPE, will lead Insidious 6. The newest installment from Blumhouse, Sony Pictures, Screen Gems, and distributor Stage 6 Films. The plot for the newest Blumhouse project is being kept tightly under wraps, with production set to begin in Australia. Insidious 6 is slated for an Aug. 2026 release.
MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson) joins The Angry Birds Movie 3 voice cast. Obviously, Angry Birds is no stranger to cameos, but the question is, why is Jimmy so determined to be a voice actor? Hope he does better than his last v/o gig. Clip.
Indie action film Foster adds six to its cast, joining its lead James Franco.
Randy J. Goodwin (Dynasty)
Rhys Coiro (The Penguin)
Alexis Knapp (Pitch Perfect)
Dash Mihok (Long Bright River)
Jeremy Luke (The Irishman)
The 1980s-set thriller began production in August.

Willow Smith
Teyana Taylor (One Battle After Another)
Anna Sawai (Shōgun)
