The second season of Prime Video’s new hit YA series adaptation Off Campus, announces that Mika Abdalla’s (Snack Shack) and Stephen Kalyn (Transplant) romantic relationship will be the central focus. The show’s Instagram account teased the new couple in a video with the first eight episodes of the series available now on Prime.
Mary McDonnell (The Boroughs) joins the cast of Fox’s Baywatch reboot. The show follows Hobie Buchannon (Stephen Amell), a Baywatch captain and the son of legendary lifeguard Mitch Buchannon. McDonnell will play Gayle, the mother of the protagonist Hobie.
Zsa Zsa Zemeckis, the daughter of Forrest Gump director Robert Zemeckis, is making her acting feature debut in Star-Crossed Lovers, a modernized Romeo and Juliet film. Zemeckis will play the secretly pregnant 17 year old, Mila, navigating a relationship with a much older man and her conservative parents who don’t approve.
Paul Sparks (House of Cards) joins Apple’s sci-fi action thriller Liminal. Based on the AWA graphic novel Telepaths, the film explores a world in which a tenth of Earth’s population suddenly gains telepathic powers, and the newly telepathic Boston Police force has to deal with it. He will star alongside Vanessa Kirby and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Aquaman franchise)
