Ghost Boy

A South African boy emerges from a vegetative state with no memories, silently observing the world around him while trapped in his own body. As his consciousness returns, he fights to reconnect with life and discover who he truly is.
No one is going to be better at capturing this meditative state than Ascher, whose latest film A Glitch in the Matrix (2021) was wonderfully dreamy. And if you caught his Room 237, a deep dive into the theories and conspiracies behind The Shining, you’ll know what we’re talking about.

Synopsis:
Every year the Florida government invites the public to compete in an invasive python removal contest in the Everglades. For 10 nights, an eclectic group of hunters confront the dangerous terrain, nocturnal creatures and their own desires.
Sounds like some sort of Floridian version of The Purge and we’re very into it.
We’re also intrigued by LifeHack, which is a Crypto heist that takes entirely over computer screens.
Francis Ford Coppola will EP Brother Versus Brother a live cinema experience.

Two brothers roam San Francisco at night searching for their missing father, exploring Beat Generation landmarks and uncovering family secrets as music guides their urgent journey through the city.
Coppola’s Megalopolis live component was pretty epic. But I think it’ll be tough for that to catch on at scale.
